"Miss Stephanie" has been a practicing, ASHA certified, Speech Language Pathologist since 2003. She is licensed to practice speech therapy in the state of Pennsylvania and also holds a PA teaching certification of the Speech and Language Impaired. Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a minor in Psychology from Clarion University of Pennsylvania in 2001 and a Master of Arts in Speech Language Pathology in 2002 from the University of Pittsburgh. Stephanie has extensive experience in the field of Speech Language Pathology acquired from working in several settings including private education, early intervention, pediatric and adult outpatient clinic and acute medical hospitals. After being approached many times over the years to provide private services, Stephanie decided to create Caring Communication Services to be available when needed. While the understanding, knowledge and experience provide a foundation and basis for her therapy, Stephanie's passion and love for children bring her skills to life. Stephanie's primary focus is on the importance of building relationships with her clients and their families. She believes that every person deserves to communicate and that it is never too late. In her free time, you can find her traveling with her husband and teenagers, walking her Bichon Frise, reading a psychological thriller or at a Pitt game.
